I’ve lived at the preserve for two years and it’s been a great fit for me. The location is great, especially for FSU students because it’s a little farther away from campus, but the commute is no more than 10 minutes. This is also a great community if you have a pet because most apartment complexes do not allow them. Plus, there is a dog park directly across from the neighborhood. The floor plans are also very spacious, especially for student housing. The kitchens and bathrooms are a bit small... but otherwise are fine. Maintenance is also really good if you submit a request, they will usually come within 24 hours which is much better than other places.

I moved here a year ago and just renewed my lease to stay another year. Management makes it clear that they care about their residents by keeping the property clean and holding fun little events for us. The half bath is great for having guests over and parking is no issue. The kitchen is a little small but there's plenty of room in the dining/living area for storage. I wish I had moved here sooner!

I lived here from August 2018-May 2019 and if I was staying in Tallahassee I would've lived here another year. My roommates still live in our same unit. It was so roomy and comfortable. We were able to move in early and got our unit furnished and it was all nice stuff. Any time we had issues with the apartment (fire alarms, air conditioning, etc.) they came out within a day at the latest. Everyone in the office was super nice and they had lots of events with free food. The community is super... pet-friendly and the fact that it feels more like a neighborhood than a complex was really comforting. It's basically right across from the San Luis dog park too which was convenient. There are mini fridges in every room and having a washer and dryer was nice. We had a back patio area and a nice front yard area, but some units have back porches (it just depends on the unit). The amenities were nice and we were out by the pool all the time. They had just redone the entire office before we moved in so it's really nice. 10/10 would live here again.
