I want to warn every person before they make the mistake of renting here. I have been here for a week and a half. It hasn’t even been two weeks and it has been an anxiety filled nightmare. The apartments are infested and the leasing office couldn’t care less. I tell them it’s emergency I need pest control. Mind you pest control is supposed to be one of the charges included in the total rent. I put in two maintenance requests under the category of pest control when I first moved in and they kept marking them as completed. I finally get someone on the phone after continuously calling because they never answer and they claim, “It’s not a maintenance request it’s pest control so that’s why it was marked completed.” Mind you they never reach back out to let you know that. They just complete it and move on. I had to chase them down. I tell them I need pest control it’s an emergency. They say, “Okay we’ll put you on the list for Tuesday” (Today) and no one came. And I called earlier in the morning to confirm they were still coming. I go up there to confront them, because they rarely EVER answer the phone, now everyone wants to look confused and say pest control won’t come until NEXT Tuesday. Now I have to take matters into my own hands. On top of the infestation, there’s termites to go along with it. And it’s just a shame how no one seems to care. I will also be contacting corporate personally about the leasing office and their negligence. They fail to provide any communication unless it’s on their terms and continue to show a lack of urgency.

skip these apartments
Feels like i’m living in student living with the management turn over rate. Apartments are not worth the price. Pest control is good. Trash everywhere and no one picks up dog poop. Rip two pairs of shoes. Apartment was flooded for three weeks and now there is mold and water damage. Ac has been out since may. Office never answers the phone unless you call like you’re interested in renting. Just tired of living here. Wish I had the money to move.

Shady business practices
know what you are thinking. People only write these when they are mad and grasping at straws. Save yourself. These apartments have a great layout and location is pretty good but the management is extremely negligent. They haven't answered emails or calls for months. They aren't in the office. Over 200 maintenance requests piled up. Mystery fees. They altered my lease terms and refused to give me a copy of the lease.

Perfect!
My family and I are very pleased with everything and are extremely grateful to the management and all the employees of Aspen Run. For us, everything here is ideal: the location, the internal condition, the attentive, kind attitude of the staff, and the timely creation of cleanliness and comfort in the complex. In addition, there is such a peaceful, beautiful park nearby with a lake and wild birds! There is a playground for our child and a dog park. Our beloved Florida State University is located very close to us, as well as excellent supermarkets and restaurants.
We are very glad that we were lucky enough to immediately discover our wonderful Aspen Run and we truly enjoy life here and can be calm about all vital issues, freely going about our professional affairs!

Look Elsewhere
Prospective tenants should look elsewhere! The property is just okay. Unit condition varies a ton and noise carries easily. Management used to be pleasant and kind but has become frustrating and unreliable.
